Ingredients:
- 2 scoops Pure Paleo chocolate protein powder
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1/4 cup cacao powder (or unsweetened cocoa powder)
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1/3 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup melted coconut oil (or grass-fed butter)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Optional: 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips or chopped walnuts
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a small 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the almond flour, chocolate bone broth protein powder, cacao powder, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs, maple syrup, melted coconut oil, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. If using chocolate chips or nuts, fold them in.
- Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking dish.
- Bake for 18–22 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out mostly clean (a few moist crumbs are okay!).
- Let cool completely before cutting into squares.
Tips:
- These brownies are dense and fudgy thanks to the protein powder.
- If you like them extra chocolaty, sprinkle a few chocolate chips on top before baking!
- Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 5 days (they’re even better cold!).
