Ingredients:

  • 2 scoops Pure Paleo chocolate protein powder
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup cacao powder (or unsweetened cocoa powder)
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup melted coconut oil (or grass-fed butter)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Optional: 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips or chopped walnuts

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a small 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the almond flour, chocolate bone broth protein powder, cacao powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs, maple syrup, melted coconut oil, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. If using chocolate chips or nuts, fold them in.
  5. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  6. Bake for 18–22 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out mostly clean (a few moist crumbs are okay!).
  7. Let cool completely before cutting into squares.

Tips:

  • These brownies are dense and fudgy thanks to the protein powder.
  • If you like them extra chocolaty, sprinkle a few chocolate chips on top before baking!
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 5 days (they’re even better cold!).
